Welcome to the website of Alex Hughes Cartoons and Caricatures. I'm a cartoonist and caricaturist from Birmingham in the UK. Scattered across these pages are examples of my work, published and unpublished, from political cartoons to personal caricatures, comic strips to magazine illustrations. Please feel free to have a good look around. My services are available for personal caricatures, on-the-spot caricature or any other cartoon, caricature or illustation work, and many of the cartoons on the site are available for sale. Card-i-cature a week... Week 33 - Amy Winehouse (the Four of Diamonds)
Week 33, and the turn of singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse, who pulled out of a few gigs this week due to taking time out to address 'health issues', amidst rumours of alcohol, cocaine and heroin abuse and a return to rehab.

Card-i-cature a week... Week 22 - Andrei Lugovoi (the 4 of Clubs)
Week 22 and it's Andrei Lugovoi, the former KGB spy in whose name an arrest warrant was submitted to the Russian government as part of the on-going investigation into the murder of Russian dissident and writer Alexander Litvinenko, who was poisoned by radioactive element Polonium 210.
