Although I suggest in my book 'Learn to Draw Caricatures' a number of times the importance of practicing your drawing, it occurred to me recently that I've not attended a life-drawing class since I left UCE in 1994. With this in mind, I thought I'd give a local class a go. Here are my sketches from these classes, and I will add more as I time permits.

In taking these life classes, I'm attempting to loosen up my drawing and get back into the habit of sketching quickly from life. I don't intend to take any of these sketches onwards to more finished work, but may do for occasional pieces. I have made a conscious decision to post all my sketches from the classes, rather than just my favourites to give you an idea of my re-discovery of life drawing.
